EGPD Nabs 3 Notorious Thieves, Recovers Stolen Scooters in Follow-Up Theft Probe

 

In a significant breakthrough, an East Guwahati Police District (EGPD) team from Basistha Police Station, in connection with a continued probe into a theft case, acted on crucial leads provided by arrested accused Rohit Das alias Anna (20).

📍 Rajgarh Road

 

As a result of these swift and strategic operations, police apprehended three veteran thieves:

 

👤 Rabi Kumar Giri alias Rabi (21)

 

👤 Manish Choudhury alias Laku (26)

 

👤 Arjun Singh (26)

 

 

💥 Recovered Stolen Scooters:

 

🛵 Hero Honda Activa 3G (Reg. No. AS01BR7900) – stolen from Panbazar

 

🛵 Honda Aviator (Reg. No. AS01AR1492) – stolen from Namcare Hospital

 

🛵 Honda Aviator (Reg. No. AS01AJ5766) – stolen from Fancy Bazar & Bhangagarh areas

 

 

📌 The gang had been targeting high-traffic urban zones, making off with scooters from public and hospital premises.

 

✅ Legal action has been initiated, and the investigation is actively ongoing to uncover further links and recover additional stolen property.
