former UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, accompanied by his wife Akshata Murty, their daughters Krishna and Anoushka, and Rajya Sabha MP Sudha Murthy, visited the Indian Parliament House in New Delhi. They were welcomed by Lok Sabha Secretary General Utpal Kumar Singh.
This visit is part of Sunak’s broader trip to India, during which he and his family have engaged in various cultural and spiritual activities. Earlier in the month, they attended the Jaipur Literature Festival alongside Akshata’s parents, Narayana Murthy and Sudha Murthy. Additionally, the family visited the Raghavendra Swamy Mutt in Bengaluru to seek blessings during the auspicious Kartika masa. Most recently, on February 15, they toured the Taj Mahal in Agra.
These visits highlight the family’s deep connection to India’s cultural and spiritual heritage.
