TMC leader Sushmita Dev slams BJP, BPF & UPPL in Nagrijuli
A special election rally was held today in the 27 No. Nagrijuli Constituency in support of Trinamool Congress (TMC) candidate Tarun Biswas. The rally was attended by senior TMC leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sushmita Dev.
Addressing the gathering, Sushmita Dev launched a scathing attack on the BJP, BPF, and UPPL parties. She alleged, “These parties have carried the trust of the people for years, but they have failed to bring real development. The basic problems of common people still remain unresolved.”
She further added that in Nagrijuli as well as the entire BTC region, people continue to suffer in areas of employment, education, and healthcare, yet the BJP-UPPL-BPF alliance has done nothing to resolve them. Making an appeal to the voters, Dev said, “The true alternative is the Trinamool Congress, which will not just make promises but will work and earn the people’s trust.”
TMC candidate Tarun Biswas also addressed the gathering, putting forward his developmental promises for the people.
The rally witnessed the enthusiastic participation of hundreds of supporters from the region.
