Special train to run between Dibrugarh & Dhubri
Extension of periodicity of special train
Maligaon, 01st December, 2024:
In a bid to clear extra rush of passengers, it has been decided to run special train between Dibrugarh and Dhubri for 01 trip in both directions from 04th to 07th December, 2024.
Special train No. 05938 (Dibrugarh – Dhubri) will depart from Dibrugarh at 07:30 hours on 4th December, 2024 on Wednesday to reach Dhubri at 02:05 hours on next day. In return direction, special train No. 05937 (Dhubri – Dibrugarh) will depart from Dhubri at 19:20 hours on 07th December, 2024 on Saturday to reach Dibrugarh at 16:30 hours on next day. The special train will run via New Tinsukia, Naharkatia, Simaluguri, Furkating, Lumding, Guwahati, Rangiya, New Bongaigaon, Fakiragram, Golokganj to reach its destination during its both way journey. The train will consist of 22 numbers of coaches. AC-III Tier, Sleeper Class & General Seating coaches will be available.
It has also been decided for extension of periodicity of special train between Kamakhya and Anand Vihar Terminal for 04 trips in both directions from 06th to 29th December, 2024.
Accordingly, train No. 02525 (Kamakhya – Anand Vihar Terminal) special has been extended to run from 06th to 27th December, 2024 on every Friday. In return direction, train no. 02526 (Anand Vihar Terminal – Kamakhya) special has been extended to run from 08th to 29th December, 2024 on every Sunday. The train will run in its existing timings, stoppages and will consist of 22 coaches. AC-First Class, AC- II Tier, AC-III Tier, AC-III Tier Economy and Sleeper Class & General Seating coaches will be available.
