NFR to Host Grand Independence Day Celebration at Eco Park, Amingaon

As part of the nationwide celebrations for Independence Day 2025, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) of Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) will present a special patriotic performance at the Eco Park, Amingaon, Guwahati on the evening of 15th August 2025. Aligned with Indian Railways’ initiative to ignite the spirit of patriotism across the nation, the RPF Band will perform at prominent public venues, bringing music, pride and unity to communities far and wide.
The performance will feature a captivating line-up of patriotic songs, with RPF Band performances lighting up important Indian Railways locations on the evening of 15th August 2025 including Kakori Railway Station in Uttar Pradesh, the Rail Museum and Hubli Public Garden near Hubli Railway Station in Karnataka and Eco Park, Amingaon in Guwahati. The event at Amingaon will be graced by Shri Chetan Kumar Shrivastava, General Manager of N.F. Railway along with other senior railway officials, staff, their family members and members of the public all coming together to celebrate the pride and unity of the nation. To make the celebrations even more special, Indian Railways has set up special Selfie Points at different locations inspired by the ‘Operation Sindoor’ theme, where visitors can take photos and remember their patriotic moments. In addition, family members of freedom fighters will be honoured and a display showcasing the achievements of the Armed Forces during Operation Sindoor will be presented.
Shri Chetan Kumar Shrivastava, General Manager of NFR will urge everyone to join the celebrations and be part of the special moments this Independence Day. NFR will warmly invite the people of Guwahati and neighbouring areas to gather at Amingaon Eco Park. The public is being welcomed to celebrate the nation’s 79th Independence Day with music, unity and pride on this memorable evening. NFR will unite as one family to honour our freedom, share the joy of music and proudly salute the Tricolour. The RPF Band of NFR, renowned for its disciplined performances and soulful melodies will perform under the open skies at the scenic Amingaon Eco Park, offering attendees an unforgettable cultural experience.
