Natun Bazar Raid: Notorious Drug Peddler Apprehended by Basistha Police
Guwahati, Sept 8:
In a major breakthrough against drug menace, the East Guwahati Police District (EGPD) team from Basistha Police Station conducted a raid at Natun Bazar and apprehended a notorious drug peddler.
The arrested individual has been identified as Anup Jaiswal (35), a resident of Pilingkata, Meghalaya.
During the operation, police seized the following items from his possession:
5.102 KG of Ganja
Scooty (AS01FQ6193)
One mobile phone
Police sources informed that the accused has been taken into custody and a case has been registered. Further investigation is underway to unearth the network involved in the illegal trade.
