
CRPF Braveheart from Assam Martyred in Anti-Naxal Operation

In a solemn moment of grief and pride, CT/GD Praneswar Koch, a brave jawan hailing from Magur Mari village in Kokrajhar district of Assam, laid down his life in the line of duty during an Anti-Naxal Operation carried out by the 209 CoBRA Battalion of CRPF this morning.
During the fierce encounter, two Naxals were neutralised, but in the intense exchange of fire, Praneswar Koch made the supreme sacrifice for the nation.
A Salute to His Courage:
Praneswar Koch was known for his dedication, discipline, and commitment towards serving the country. His sacrifice reflects the valour and unyielding spirit of the CoBRA (Commando Battalion for Resolute Action), one of the most elite forces of CRPF tasked with counter-insurgency operations in some of the toughest terrains of India.

The entire CRPF family mourns this irreparable loss and extends heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. In an official statement, CRPF stated:
“The CRPF fraternity bows its head in honour of our fallen hero CT/GD Praneswar Koch. We stand by his family in this tragic hour. His sacrifice strengthens our resolve to eliminate the menace of Naxalism from our nation.”
