BTR CEM Pramod Boro Distributes Approval Letters to 211 Casual Forest Workers in Baksa

 

Furthering the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) administration’s commitment to ensuring sustainable and gainful employment across the region, Hon’ble Chief Executive Member (CEM) Shri Pramod Boro today distributed Approval Letters to 211 Casual Workers of the Forest Department, Government of BTR.

 

The distribution ceremony was held with great enthusiasm at the Cultural Complex in Mushalpur, Baksa, where CEM Shri Pramod Boro emphasized the government’s continued efforts toward securing the rights and livelihoods of grassroots workers, especially those working to protect and conserve our natural resources.

 

Speaking at the event, the Hon’ble CEM noted:

 

> “The Forest Department plays a vital role in preserving our ecological balance. Recognizing the service of these workers is not just a matter of policy, but a step towards dignity and long-term employment assurance.”

 

 

 

This initiative reflects the BTR Government’s mission to regularize and recognize the efforts of casual workers and ensure that employment in critical sectors like forest conservation is both rewarding and secure.

 

Local officials, forest department representatives, and community members were present in large numbers to witness the occasion and extend their support.
