CM’s Promise Fulfilled During Tamulpur Visit: Dilip Kakoti of Kolabari Receives E-Rickshaw
Tamulpur, 25 July
During his visit to Kolabari village in Assam’s Tamulpur district on July 4, Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma met a specially-abled individual, Dilip Kakoti, and extended a compassionate hand of support by promising to provide an E-Rickshaw for his livelihood.
During the interaction, the Chief Minister encouraged Dilip Kakoti by saying, “I will give you an E-Rickshaw so that you can earn a living on your own.” This heartfelt gesture was met with appreciation from the local residents.
Dilip Kakoti, a specially-abled person, has been battling hardships for years to support his family. The Chief Minister’s goodwill has brought new hope into his life.
It is worth mentioning that Dilip Kakoti is also a talented actor who has showcased his skills in various states. He informed that he currently runs a small shop, through which he is managing to support his family.
Local residents have expressed hope that the promise would be fulfilled promptly—and it was. Today, Tamulpur Deputy Commissioner Pankaj Chakravarty, on behalf of the Chief Minister, formally handed over the E-Rickshaw to the specially-abled actor Dilip Kakoti, marking the official fulfillment of the CM’s commitment.
