In a significant move ahead of the annual Kanwar Yatra, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has announced a comprehensive revamp of the pilgrimage arrangements, promising unprecedented facilities for Kanwariyas this year.

Deployment of dedicated medical teams and mobile health units along the yatra route

 

Installation of LED-lit camps, resting shelters, and water distribution points

 

Round-the-clock security with CCTV monitoring and drone surveillance

 

Collaboration with religious and volunteer organizations for crowd management

 

Special attention to traffic regulation and emergency response systems

 

 

🚧 The CM also emphasized coordination with neighboring states for seamless movement and zero tolerance toward any disruption or mismanagement.
